逢甲村在蕉岭县文福镇西南，旧称淡定村，1984年为纪念丘逢甲诞辰120周年而改名。[1]丘逢甲故居即在村内，是第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[1][2]2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
地名与沿革[edit]
民间传说，很久以前有逃荒者在此暂住，地称「暂定」，后写作淡定。1904年丘逢甲自台湾内渡，先寓居县城近郊，后到此择居，村名写作「澹定」，据说由状元夏同龢题字立碑。1984年经广东省人民政府批准，改称逢甲村。[1]
1950年属文福乡，称淡定村；1958年为淡定生产大队；1983年淡定、暗石、三坑子、羌畲四个大队合为逢甲乡；1987年起为村委会。[1]
村情[edit]
村情介绍（未注年份）：6个村民小组，186户、636人，耕地431亩，园地2065亩，林地7300亩；种植甜玉米、沙田柚和仙人草。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
丘逢甲故居又名培远堂，1896年秋建成，占地3000多平方米，有房55间，1985年定为县级文保单位，1989年升省级，2006年5月升为全国重点文物保护单位。[2]
