乌土村在蕉岭县文福镇最南端，原名乌土溪，村名与溪和黑色的泥土有关。[1]2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村情资料说，此地原称乌土溪，以溪得名，又因土质疏松、色黑而叫乌土。明崇祯六年（1633年）属丰田乡。1952年设乌土乡，1958年归文福公社，1983年乌土、田心两大队合并称乌土乡，1987年起为村委会。[1]

村情介绍（未注年份）：18个村民小组，619户、1938人；耕地823亩，园地407亩，林地14460亩。作物有水稻、烤烟、甜玉米和花生，甜玉米是村里的特色收入。[1]
