下黄地村在梅州市平远县热柘镇东北部，下设9个村民小组，登记264户、1125人，面积9.49平方千米，耕地约700亩。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名有两说：一说村里山地多黄泥土，又处在东石镇茅坪一带发源的河流下游；另一说按水流排上下，上游为上黄地，下游是下黄地。[1]1949年称黄地乡，1958年为下黄地大队，1983年称乡，1987年设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年改回村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

种水稻、豆类、薯类、金柚、李和脐橙，沙糖桔也是特色收入。上一年农村经济总收入458.61万元，集体经济每年固定收入1万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，下黄地村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。2020年8月，省农业农村厅公布「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，下黄地村以茶叶入选。2026年1月又被评为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
