历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，博雅地名网的说法是：由下寨与滩下两处合并而成，取名下滩。[1]

建置方面：新中国成立之初为下滩乡，1958年人民公社化时设下滩大队，1983年复为乡政府，1989年改称管理区，1999年起为下滩村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

全村辖17个村民小组，总面积11.48平方公里，耕地1258亩。[1]
