华南村是五华县华阳镇的行政村，位于镇的东南部，因在华阳镇之南而得名。[1]

全村分46个村民小组，登记户数约754户、4381人，耕地2114亩（据博雅地名网所载村情，未注明年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年土地改革后，华南分为华南、古塘、坪田三个初级社，1955年改为高级社，1958年公社化时成为华南营区，下设三个分区。1967年10月成立华南革命委员会，1977年1月转为华南大队，其后改作管理区，1999年3月定名华南村委会，由华阳镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年2月，获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
