历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立之初是坪南乡；1958年改作坪南大队，1983年又称坪南乡政府，1989年成了管理区，直到1999年才定名为坪南村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
省农业农村厅在2020年8月发布首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，坪南村因龟鳖养殖上榜。[1] 2026年3月，它又进入广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇之列。[1]
