全村分31个村民小组，登记592户、2958人，耕地1413亩（据博雅地名网所载村情，未注明年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立之初是叶新乡；1958年改作叶新大队，1983年又称叶新乡政府，1989年成了管理区，直到1999年才定名为叶新村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年9月，在第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中，叶新村以小香薯入选；2023年2月，获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
