罗陂村属梅州市五华县横陂镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于镇域东北部[1]。据博雅地名网所载，全村下设36个村民小组，登记在册840户、4468人[1]。

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

据说李氏先祖在此居住，因取水困难，用箩筐装沙石在山溪中砌陂拦水，后人为纪念先祖开渠筑陂的功绩，称此地为罗陂。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为罗陂乡，1958年建有罗陂大队，1983年易名为罗陂乡政府，1989年叫作罗陂管理区，1999年易名为罗陂村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，罗陂村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
