崇文村属梅州市五华县横陂镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于镇域东北部[1]。据博雅地名网所载，全村下设18个村民小组，登记在册710户、3105人[1]。

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

原名松柏下。解放前横陂圩有一所崇文小学，解放后将圩镇附近的几个村合并，借学校之名定为崇文。[1]

村级建制的变迁：1949年为崇文乡，1958年建有崇文大队，1983年易名为崇文乡政府，1989年叫作崇文管理区，1999年易名为崇文村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2026年1月，崇文村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
  • 2023年2月，崇文村获「2022年度五华县文明村镇」称号。[1]
