名称由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村内有彩里、彩下、下水彩、彩上、上五彩等五处寨彩，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年，五彩与樟村并成樟彩乡；归大田人民公社管理时，又和大坑村并为五彩大队；1984年起叫管理区，1999年设村委会，延续至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，五彩村以果合柿入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2023年2月获评「2022年度五华县文明村镇」。[1]
