名称由来[edit]
栋新村与栋岭村同出一源：清初这一带名浦溪，后称栋岭下，1949年后分为栋一至栋五等社，其中栋一、栋二片合并为栋新。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
栋新村在解放后先是初级社，1958年转为高级社；到1964年，栋一、栋二两个社并成栋新大队，1980年后叫管理区，1999年起设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，广东省农业农村厅公布「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，栋新村以红薯入选。[1]
