名称由来[edit]

村名取自琴塘与大林塘两处合并后各取一字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地1949年建琴塘乡，1958年起改作大队，1983年又成为乡政府一级，1989年设管理区，到1999年才由村民委员会管理，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，琴塘村列入「第一批广东省卫生村」；2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2023年2月获评「2022年度五华县文明村镇」。[1]
