石础村是广东省梅州市五华县长布镇辖下的行政村。该村辖3个村民小组，在册214户、1304人，耕地573亩。[1]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村名由当地多石山而来：较突出的一处山窝叫石壁坑，又因低洼处以瓷土为主，故名石础。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

石础于1950年立村，1959年后改称公社；1965年后划入粘石乡，归粘坑管理；1975年起属锡坪公社，到1983年前后又称石础乡；1984至1998年间划归长布镇，称管理区；1999年起为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，石础村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2023年2月获评「2022年度五华县文明村镇」。[1]
