据博雅地名网，全村总面积13.2平方千米，耕地约305亩；年平均气温14度，年降雨量约1800毫米。[1]村里的经济作物以红薯、茶、竹等为主，所载上一年全村经济总收入381万元。

历史沿革[edit]

地名由来：村落四面环山，中间地势平坦，因而得名。[1]

高基与蝉联在解放前同属高联小乡；1971年高联一分为二，成为高基、蝉联两个大队；高基于1984年设管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」。[1]
  • 2021年9月，进入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产品为番薯。[1]
