据博雅地名网，全村总面积7.77平方千米，耕地约200亩；年平均气温15度，年降雨量约1900毫米。[1]村里的经济作物以红薯、竹、木、水稻等为主，所载上一年全村经济总收入504万元。

历史沿革[edit]

1973年之前，这里归尖山大队管。当年从尖山大队划出，另立银河生产大队，此后经历了银河乡（1984年）、银河管理区（1993年）的名称。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2017年10月，被省爱国卫生运动机构评为「第一批广东省卫生村」。[1]
  • 2021年9月，进入「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产品为番薯。[1]
