水祝村是广东省梅州市大埔县西河镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传某年大旱，一名官差路过，见四周竹林环绕、农田水源充足，称此地为水竹；客家话中「水足」与「水竹」谐音，也写作水足，后来定为水祝。明代属清远都大产社，1993年为岩上镇水祝村，2004年岩上镇并入西河镇后归西河镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

水祝村在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
