历史沿革[edit]

解放前游击队在这一带活动，内部称此地为「工农」，村名即源于此。1961年1月起为岩上公社的工农大队，1993年为岩上镇工农村，2004年岩上镇并入西河镇后归西河镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

工农村在2019年9月列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
