福光村是广东省梅州市大埔县大东镇的一个行政村，在大东镇南部。全村辖17个村民小组，400户1985人，总面积10344.2亩，耕地916亩，种植板栗、蜜柚，并有网箱养鱼和小水电站。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

古时主村有一口八亩多的水塘，形如湖，村名“湖田安”；约七十年前，罗子云提议把“湖”改作“福”，称福田安，后又改为福光。1952年称石云区福田安乡，1960年合并白土、联丰两地成立福光大队，1961年白土、联丰分出，福光为大东公社福光大队，其后1983年改乡，1986年起称村，1988年称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与文化[edit]

2020年8月，福光村列入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（蜜柚）。[1]村内的大东辉萼堂建于1703年，由大埔县列为县级文物保护单位（第十三批）。[1]
