岩东村是广东省梅州市大埔县大东镇的一个行政村，在大东镇北部。全村辖17个村民小组，360户1853人，总面积25272.5亩，耕地1142亩，种植蜜柚，并养殖鸡鸭、经营小水电站。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，因该地处岩上之东，定名岩东。明代属大产社，清代属大产甲，民国为大产乡；1952年属百侯区岩下乡，1961年为大东公社岩东大队。1978年曾改属横溪公社，同年改制为乡，1983年冬重归大东区，其后1986年起称村，1988年称管理区，1998年成立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉与文化[edit]

2019年9月，岩东村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
