历史沿革[edit]
村情页说这里宋代就有人居住，1557年以前成为三河新寨社的聚落，1563年修城，城名三河镇城。清乾隆时村属三河社；民国末年为在城乡，1949年后改称汇川乡，1952年起叫汇城乡，1958年成为三河公社的汇城大队。[1]
经济[edit]
全村分25个村民小组，在册1013户、2524人，总面积11平方千米，耕地939亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要作物是蜜柚，村里依托中山纪念堂、明代古城墙、翁万达墓和古民居发展旅游，曾获广东省生态示范村、乡村特色旅游村的称号；页面称上一年农村经济总收入2300万元。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]
三河中山纪念堂和翁万达墓都在村内凤翔山一带，详见三河镇条目。[3]百度百科称村里还有陈氏宗祠（所谓「一门九清华」）、明代城墙遗存和韩江源母亲雕像。[2]
华萼楼是民国华侨民居，三层三进，由范建三出资，1920年始建，一进门楼题「廉让家风」，二进门楼刻有楼名；史料载它当过三县临时政府的驻地；中山大学文学院院长范锜出自此家。2017年3月成为第五批市级文保单位，2022年7月升入第十批省级文保单位。[4][5]
徐统雄（1886年—1947年）是汇城村人，早年到新加坡经商，追随孙中山，曾出资并筹款兴建三河中山纪念堂。[6]
