汇东村是梅州市大埔县三河镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北部。村在三水交汇处之东，所以叫汇东。三河坝战役纪念园就在村内笔枝尾山顶。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1557年以前，这里是三河旧寨社的东门埔，清代叫东文部村，民国和1950年代初的乡也以东文部为名。1958年10月改称汇东生产大队，1983年冬为汇东乡，之后依次设村委会（1986年）和管理区（1988年）。^[1]

全村分15个村民小组，在册873户、1966人，总面积10.5平方千米，耕地542.6亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要作物是蜜柚，村里水库湾多，鼓励村民发展水面养殖；页面称上一年农村经济总收入1795万元。^[1]

三河坝战役纪念园占地18万平方米，含烈士纪念碑、纪念馆、朱德雕塑等，既是全国重点烈士纪念建筑物保护单位，也是省级文物保护单位，2024年7月评定为国家4A级旅游景区。^[2]^[3]1927年10月，南昌起义军与国民党钱大钧部在三河坝打了三天战役，起义军最终撤出。^[4]

战役指挥部旧址田氏宗祠也在村内，清末建筑，列为第八批梅州市文物保护单位，也是大埔县第十二批文物保护单位。^[2]
