历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：古时此地有一眼“沟湖泉”，泉深七尺，灌溉湖下三百多亩田，因多用水车提水而得名。[1]车上先是1956年的乡，1958年成为大队，1987年改作管理区，1999年定为村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
济济楼由富商陈济轩于1936年动工、1946年竣工，历时十年，是三堂六横一枕杠的两层围龙屋，占地约15435平方米，有厅堂20个、房间235间、天井18个。[2]2007年，一位民间收藏爱好者把藏品移入楼内展出，此后楼内设有梅县客家博览中心，并供梅县民间收藏协会办公。[2]
