程江镇是广东省梅州市梅县区下辖的镇，位于梅县区新县城一带，东面与新城街道相接，西面是扶大镇和南口镇，南面望向梅州城区，北面与梅江区为邻。[1]镇名取自程江河下游在此汇入梅江、冲积成程江平原一事。[2]2019年末户籍人口47829人，2020年6月辖3个社区、14个行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代，这一带分属扶贵、大竹、长滩三堡。1931年改堡为区、乡，隶属梅县第二区；1937年改属梅县第一区。[1][2]
1958年并入卫星（后称梅城）人民公社，次年（1959年）程江自梅城公社独立，成立程江人民公社。1983年公社改区，1987年4月区再改乡，至1993年乡升格为镇。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的镇情介绍，全镇面积54平方千米，南北两端为丘陵，低山、平原与山地相间，耕地9537亩，有林山地4.28万亩；百度百科则记面积58平方千米（2019年）。[1][3]镇内有205国道、206国道和宪梓大道、人民大道，梅汕、梅河、西环高速公路亦从境内经过。[3]

镇情介绍称全镇有村民小组176个、1.2万多户、3.7万多人，外来常住者另有4000余人；第七次全国人口普查（2020年）结果中，程江镇常住人口为14.48万人，居梅县区各街道乡镇之首。[2][3]百度百科记2019年末户籍人口47829人。[1]

2006年，全镇农村社会总产值为4.19亿元、工业总产值1.37亿元，全年工商税收3145万元。[3]2020年镇级财政税收收入为5.47亿元，较上年少1.40亿元；规模以上工业总产值约3.26亿元。[1]2022年10月，程江镇入选当年的淘宝镇名单。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
镇上华侨和港澳台同胞多，被称为梅县重点侨乡之一，侨居建筑济济楼、夏万秋所建的万秋楼等在海内外有一定知名度。[3][8]
济济楼是三堂六横带一道枕杠的两层围龙屋，富商陈济轩于1936年动工、1946年竣工，有厅堂20个、房间235间、天井18个，建筑面积约1.08万平方米；据百度百科，它属车上村辖，而该条目又称其在新城街道办事处的建设区内，两处归属的写法并不一致。[4]
槐岗村的槐岗继善楼于2019年4月19日列入第九批省级文物保护单位；长滩村有蜈蚣吐珠山二号墓，1981年发掘，为长方形券顶砖室墓。[2]
