土湖村是龙潭镇下辖的行政村，原名“茶树厦”，因山下有湖而称土湖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧名茶树厦，因山下有一个湖，改称土湖；村委会驻地在土湖村，村名由此而来。1949年9月，归三区左潭乡管辖；至1951年12月，另立土湖乡；1957年12月称土湖村，次年10月称土湖大队。从1984年3月起名为土湖乡，1989年10月改作土湖管理区，到1999年4月才用上现名。[1]

荣誉[edit]

在2026年1月，村里获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2021年12月，得到「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
