历史沿革[edit]
此地在1949年9月隶属三区左潭乡，1951年12月后归入三区下埔乡；1957年是左潭乡的下埔村。1958年10月，石莲大队成立，之后称石莲乡（1984年3月）、石莲管理区（1989年10月），1999年4月起用现名。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
龙门水帘洞漂流景区在南昆山脚下，水道全长4580米，大小落差30多处，单个最大落差8米，全程落差近138米，水道上有两个涵洞。[2][3]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，该村被广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，也在「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单中。[1]
