历史沿革[edit]

1988年以前属惠阳县矮陂镇的观音山大队，其后1989年改为观音山管理区，随后1999年改称观音山村委会，此后2003年改属惠城区，其后随矮陂镇并入横沥镇。2019年9月，该村名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；再后2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
