矮陂村位于惠州市惠城区横沥镇，是镇辖行政村。据博雅地名网，该村始建于唐代，当地无高山、只有几处矮山岭，山岭又可称“陂”，因此得名；矮陂梅菜即以矮陂一带命名。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

矮陂村1957年成立，当年年底改为大队，其后1990年改为矮陂管理区，随后1998年撤区建村，称矮陂村委会。2020年8月，广东省农业农村厅公布「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单，矮陂村以惠州梅菜入选。^[1]
