翟村村位于惠州市惠城区横沥镇，属镇辖行政村。据博雅地名网所载，村子约在明朝中叶建立，当时村里以翟姓居多，村名取自姓氏。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期，这里编为狮子乡下的翟村革命委员会；其后1968年改为翟村生产队，随后1980年改称翟村管理区，此后1999年撤管理区设村民委员会。在国家林业和草原局2019年12月公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单中，有翟村村。[1]
