新城社区是惠州市惠城区江北街道的社区，居委会1999年11月成立，管辖文明一路、文明二路、三新南路、三新北路、文华二路一带。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

为改革城市基层管理体制、加强社区管理，经惠城区政府研究同意，1999年11月成立新城社区居委会，社区由此得名。[1]

人口与区域[edit]

主要住宅小区包括嘉和名苑、景富花园、南光小区、江北新苑和邮电新村。据博雅地名网转载的社区介绍，长期居住的有3065户、9437人，其中户籍在辖区内的2313户、2109人（未注明统计年份）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新城社区在2018年广东省创建「民主法治示范村（社区）」的单位名单上；2022年1月被评为惠州市2021年度绿色社区。[1]
