旺塘村是肇庆市四会市江谷镇下辖的行政村，在镇南部，离墟镇约4公里[1]。

名称由来[edit]

1998年，旺塘管理区改设村民委员会，因办事处设在旺塘村，故名旺塘[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为旺塘大队，1987年为旺塘管理区，1998年设村民委员会，名称沿用至今[1]。

地理与经济[edit]

村域面积4平方公里，下设18个村民小组，人口2570人（资料未注明年份）。村在丘陵地带，以种植农作物为主，出产沙糖桔。村里藤制品加工的历史较长，产品有藤篮等工艺品，销往海内外[1]。
