岗坪村是广东省肇庆市广宁县石咀镇下辖的行政村，位于镇中部，在九石公路旁，紧邻石咀墟镇，面积约10平方千米。[1]

历史沿革与地名[edit]

清道光年间名岗头，归膺洞铺管。1958年建岗坪大队，之后改为乡（1983年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），1998年定名岗坪村民委员会。[2]1951年设乡政府，辖岗头、坪沙、黄塘三个行政村（今岗坪、爱群、建中一带），村名取“岗头”“坪沙”各一字。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网（未注明年份）载：全村2409人，分20个村民小组，耕地1219亩，林地约11560亩。村里开办青砖厂，把闲置土地租给木器加工厂，作为集体收入；农户茶竹栽2000亩，沙糖桔200亩，用材林3000亩，另种贡柑，养鱼养猪。[1]
