历史沿革[edit]
2004年，这里设立排沙社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1] 2019年9月，社区进入广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
地名由来[edit]
排沙之名有两说：一说「排」是壮语，意为「边」，排沙即沙边的村落；另一说是排沙墟建在扶罗河冲积的沙洲上。[1]
经济[edit]
春江公路穿社区而过，商贸比其他村发达。社区耕地约1420亩，山林约2620亩，鱼塘约256亩；集体收入主要来自铺位、山地和鱼塘的出租。居民多经营商贸、种水稻和沙糖桔，也有人外出务工。[1]
