龙剑村在蛟塘镇北部，土地约4平方公里，分14个村民小组，人口1790人以上（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

龙剑乡成立于1953年，隶高要六区，1958年改龙剑大队并入金龙公社，其后几度改属，自1976年10月归蛟塘公社。1983年，龙剑、天鸦、禄栏三个大队合为龙剑乡；1987年乡被撤销，原地分出天鸦、禄栏、三江、龙剑四个村委会；1998年起称龙剑村民委员会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

集体收入多靠把山林、鱼塘发包出去；种植以水稻、速生桉、花生为主。村到镇区7公里，只有一条村道接肇江公路。[1]
