大湾镇圩镇社区属广东省肇庆市高要区大湾镇，是镇的中心区社区，博雅地名网称它「大湾社区」[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网载：明洪武三十一年（1398年），当地修筑水朗堤围并建水窦，窦头之上后来发展成窦头圩。又因这里三面有山、一面靠江，居中是低洼的开阔地，堤围修成前江水常漫上来，沿岸呈大弯形，所以取名「大湾」[1]。
