大田社区在广东省肇庆市高要区大湾镇西南部，离镇区约2公里，面积约9平方千米，辖坑尾、陈屋、井田、岗顶、大巷、勒根、新村7条自然村，分9个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1956年办起大田高级社，之后先后隶属东风公社、大湾公社，称大田大队。1983年与白象大队并为大田乡，1987年二者又各设村委会；1989年称大田管理区，1998年恢复村委会，2013年村委会改为居委会，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，社区共448户、2086人，耕地1375亩、林地4300亩、鱼塘1000亩；水产养殖规模大，是集体收入的主要来源，近年引入火龙果、蔬菜和园林绿化苗木基地[1]。
