睦岗街道是广东省肇庆市端州区下辖的街道，位于肇庆市城区西部，东面隔星湖与城西街道相望，南濒西江，西连高要区小湘镇，北倚北岭山，辖12个社区。[1]原为睦岗镇，2010年10月撤镇设街道。[2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

今街道一带在明永乐年间（1403—1424年）隶桂林都桂林圩。民国时期先后属西屯乡、桂湘乡；1950年并入二桂乡，归高要县管辖。1958年二桂乡与双东乡合设肇庆市郊区公社，1974年郊区公社拆为睦岗、下黄岗两个公社，睦岗公社后于1983年改称肇庆市睦岗区，1987年再改为睦岗镇。[2][3]

2010年10月13日撤销睦岗镇，设立端州区睦岗街道。[3]另据维基百科，肇庆市人民政府在2013年4月28日批复调整端州区街道辖区，睦岗街道的下瑶、沙街、出头三个社区因此改归城西街道。[3]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网和维基百科，睦岗一名源于当地树木茂盛：取“木”的谐音“睦”，因而得名。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

街道办事处驻睦岗村，距端州区人民政府约7千米，地处亚热带季风气候区，行政区域面积58.95平方千米。[1]街道所在地为肇庆市城区西面的城乡结合部，321国道、324国道经过境内；博雅地名网所引街道概况称其为肇庆通往广西方向的交通要地，西邻三榕港集装箱码头，北倚肇庆火车站一带。[4]

百度百科记，截至2021年10月街道辖12个社区。[1]其中桂林街、龙塘、站北、玑东四个社区本来就是居民委员会，蕉园、三村、大洲、睦岗、棠下、大龙、兰龙原为村民委员会，2013年1月前后陆续改为社区居委会；山河社区则是2015年经端州区人民政府批准新设。[5]维基百科的名单还列有站北西社区，博雅地名网则未列。[3]

据百度百科，2011年的第三产业总收入为159938万元，分项为：运输业13346万元、商饮业103404万元、服务业37753万元；同年出口额达10336万美元，较上年增加8%。[1]街道概况另记，辖内有9个专业市场，涉及汽车、钢材、竹木、水果、建材装饰等行业，其中肇庆车城为粤西规模较大的机动车交易市场；2004年全镇社会总收入为34.87亿元，其中工业总产值24.28亿元。[4]睦岗镇1997年获广东省“文明镇”称号，1998年被评为省乡镇企业「百强镇」，1999年被评为省「卫生先进镇」。[4]
