下瑶社区是广东省肇庆市端州区城西街道下辖的社区，由原睦岗镇下瑶村改设，处在城乡结合部。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网，古时端州知州郑敦义把土城墙改筑为砖城墙时，在此设窑烧砖，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这里1958年10月是下瑶大队，之后分别隶属二桂公社、肇庆市郊区公社和睦岗公社；1987年设睦岗墟下瑶村委会，1998年底恢复「下瑶村委会」的名称，2013年1月又改为睦岗街道办的下瑶居委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区的村民分属12个小组（有以南巷、北巷、南安、上四等命名的），共1530户，人口逾5000；集体经济以物业出租和管理为主。[1]
