钱上村是钱排镇下辖的行政村，在镇的东部[1]。辖5个村民小组，有1100户、5190人，面积10平方千米，耕地1650亩（博雅地名网村情，未注明年份）[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属马西乡六保；解放后为信宜县十三区第六村；于1952年称钱上乡，于1956年分设钱上、杨梅两个高级社，于1958年与钱排、墩头、杨梅并为钱排大社；于1961年冬分为钱上、杨梅两个大队，于1964年冬重新合并为钱上大队；于1983年改乡，于1986年冬起设村民委员会，其间于1989年曾叫管理区办事处，于1999年定名为钱上村民委员会[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村在镇中心偏南，靠近钱排的最高峰，地势略高于镇中心；村民又取“人从中间起”的寓意勉励自己，故名钱上[2]

经济[edit]

村里种三华李和玉米，村内有小水电站2座、变电站1座，据村情介绍供应着本村和全镇的用电（未注明年份）[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，钱上村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」中有钱上村，作物为三华李[1]。
