双合村是钱排镇下辖的行政村，在镇的东部[1]。辖5个村民小组，有909户、5090人，面积15.3平方千米，耕地3820亩（博雅地名网村情，未注明年份）[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属双堨五保乡；于1958年分为高断、双合两个大队，于1965年合并为双合大队；于1983年改双合乡，于1986年起设村民委员会，其间于1989年曾叫管理区办事处，于1999年定名为双合村民委员会[1]。

地名由来[edit]

相传古时村里有位大地主，妻子产下一对双胞胎，他取“好事成双”之意，把地方叫作双合[2]

经济[edit]

村里种水稻和三华李，三华李是村民的主要收入来源（村情未注明年份）[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2025年3月，双合村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」；2024年4月，该村进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单；同年（2022年）10月又获命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2019年12月列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单[1]。广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」中有双合村，作物为三华李[1]。
