楼垌村为茂名市信宜市洪冠镇所辖的行政村之一，在镇境东北部。此地河谷中草地多，原是放牛的牧场，叫「牛垌」，后按谐音改为楼垌。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期是大樟乡的第九堡，新中国成立初为楼垌公社，1957年改建楼垌乡，设楼垌大队。1999年定为楼垌村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村辖25个村民小组，在册425户、2435人，耕地1178亩。种植的作物有水稻、木薯、玉米、花生、砂仁，另以砂仁作为特色产业。[1]
