历史沿革[edit]
民国时期归大樟乡，新中国成立初属楼垌公社。1962年转归洪冠公社，仍隶楼垌大队；1966年自楼垌析出，另设垌头大队。1983年建垌头乡，1999年定为垌头村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村辖14个村民小组，在册305户、1526人，耕地746亩。种植的作物有水稻、木薯、玉米、花生、砂仁，另以砂仁作为特色产业。[1]
