翻稿村为茂名市信宜市洪冠镇所辖的行政村之一，在镇境东南部。从前此地只种一季中稻，收割后随即翻田晒冬，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期归潘大樟区，新中国成立后设翻乡。翻稿大队设于1962年，1983年改称翻稿乡，1999年定为翻稿村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村辖49个村民小组，在册826户、4341人，耕地2564亩。种植的作物有水稻、木薯、玉米、马尾松，另以马尾松作为特色产业。[1]
