历史沿革[edit]
社区因驻地在镇区中心而得名。[1]居委会2004年经批准设立；此前的2003年，化州市曾统一规范各社区居委会的名称。[1][2]
经济[edit]
辖区面积2.5平方千米，耕地2813亩，上一年农村经济总收入456万元，以商业为特色。[1][2]辖区内有针织皮具厂5间、木业厂3间、自来水厂1间，提供700多个岗位，约占总人口的三分之一。[2]江湖圩曾获「岭南杯」达标城镇称号。[2]
