该社区的居民委员会在2003年经化州市人民政府规范更名为良光居委会，2017年又改称良光社区居民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区属亚热带季风气候，与雅道、东岸、豺岭、旺财塘、长安、良光、大山、东埇、塘贡、木贤、米山、庙咀、茅山、沙田尾等村相邻。[1]镇名所自的良光圩在镇内。[2]
