东埇村位于高州市荷塘镇境内，属镇辖村民委员会。村子位于内路河以东的山埇上，故称东埇。博雅地名网作「东冲村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年组建人民公社，八十年代初，1983年设置东埇乡，三年后的1986年更名为东埇农村管理区，到1999年组建东埇村民委员会，此后名称未再变动。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 该村在广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村中，产业项目为龙眼。[1]
  • 属2019年广东省卫生村（当年10月公布）。[1]
