凤村村属高州市曹江镇，在博雅地名网的条目里写作凤村村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记载，村后有一座形如凤鸡的山，山下水塘里凸出两块大石，像鸡的眼睛，村因此叫凤村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

土改期间属古柳乡，1958年成立公社，归堂阁管理区。到1961年，凤村、古柳、竹坑三个大队合为一个，因大队部驻凤村而叫凤村大队，次年大队部迁往古柳坡；此后1983年改为乡、1986年改为农村管理区，1999年起由村民委员会管理[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2018年度）；2019年10月入选广东省卫生村名录（2019年度）；2019年12月进入国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
