华坑村属高州市曹江镇，是镇下辖的行政村[1]。
地名由来[edit]
1961年这里成立的是马坑大队，1980年全国地名普查时取谐音，改名华坑[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
土改期间归大坡乡领导，1961年设马坑大队，1980年改华坑大队，此后1983年改为乡、1986年改为农村管理区，1999年起由村民委员会管理[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2018年度）；2021年12月获评2021年广东省卫生村。[1]
