堂阁村是高州市曹江镇的行政村[1]。

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，早年刘姓祖先来到这里，住宅只占一口大塘的一角，起初叫塘角，后来改成较雅的堂阁[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

土改期间属古柳乡，1961年体制下放时设堂阁大队，此后1983年改为乡、1986年改为农村管理区，1999年起由村民委员会管理[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，进入广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2018年度）；2021年12月获评2021年广东省卫生村。[1]
