地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村名的由来是当地既有山又有水[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

土改期间，山脚一带归湖水乡；1961年体制下放后设山脚大队，1980年更名珊阁大队，此后1983年改为乡、1986年改为农村管理区，1999年起由村民委员会管理[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月被确定为「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」（2023年度）。[1]
