马坑村是广东省茂名市高州市马贵镇下辖的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

马坑原名华坑。传说有菩萨从远方飞落此处，村人视为福神降临，建庙纪念，称华坑庙，村名由此而来，后来口音相近，讹作马坑。[1]

1962年马贵公社设马坑大队，1983年改乡，1986年改农村管理区，1999年后为村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把它定为2021年度乡村治理示范村的创建单位；2019年10月入选广东省卫生村名录。[1]
